What a cold wet day it turned out to be! We needed to beat the rain and cheer up!
It was one of those miserable days when the rain does not want to go away. Clearly not the perfect camping conditions! The big fire that our friends had set up simply died, unable to cope with that steady rain. We really needed a beautiful hot campfire with big flames uplifting our mood!
So we put MyFire to the challenge and that is exactly what MyFire gave us. A fire so bright and hot, it kept going for our total delight! And we got to enjoy that hot cup of billy tea we love. The day was great after all!
Here is how we used MyFire in the rain: We used the barbecue plate to protect the early flame. Then we built up the fire to a high flame and kept it going, neatly stacking the small pieces of wood vertically. It was amazingly hot and strong. The power of this compact bonfire really showed.
As you can see on the pictures we use small-sized wood stacked vertically for maximum effect. Even in those miserable wet conditions MyFire was clearly smoke-free. So we can confidently plan our next winter camping trip because we have seen with our own eyes that MyFire can beat the rain, and save the day.
